Herschel Law is led by Waqas Sabah, Director and Principal Solicitor, SRA number 585809. Harvinder Singh is a trainee solicitor and Saleem Iqbal is a paralegal. You are told at the outset who is handling your matter, and you can check any solicitor on the SRA's public register.
Our People
Who you will be dealing with
Where someone is a qualified solicitor, we publish their SRA number so you can check it yourself. Our team is multilingual, so if English is not your first language, tell us when you book.

Supervision
Who does the work, and who checks it
Trainee solicitors and paralegals do real work on real files, under the supervision of a qualified solicitor. That is how it should be, but you are entitled to know it, so we say it here rather than leaving you to assume otherwise.
What supervision means in practice
Every matter has a named solicitor with responsibility for it, whoever does the day-to-day work.
You are told at the outset who that is, and who is supervising, in your client care letter.
Advice and documents going out in the firm's name are reviewed by a qualified solicitor.
You can ask to speak to the supervising solicitor at any point, and you do not need a reason.
Checking a solicitor's status
Every practising solicitor in England and Wales is listed on the SRA's public register. You can search it by name or by SRA number, free of charge, and it shows their practising status and any published regulatory action. We publish Waqas Sabah's number on this page so you can do exactly that.
