Costs
How we charge
At your first consultation we tell you which basis applies and what it is likely to cost, then confirm it in writing before work begins.
Fixed fee
We use a fixed fee where the work has a defined scope, such as a visa application, a will, an uncontested divorce or a police station attendance. It does not change unless the scope does.
Hourly rate
We use hourly rates where a matter cannot be scoped in advance. They are £350 for solicitors and legal executives with over eight years' experience, £300 with over four years' experience and £200 for trainees, paralegals and other fee earners, all plus VAT. We give an estimated range at the outset and update you as costs move.
Stage by stage
On longer matters we quote each stage separately, so you decide whether to continue at each point.
What is not included
Disbursements are paid to third parties and are in addition to our fees. They include court fees, Home Office fees, search fees and counsel's fees, and your written quote itemises them before we start. Our pricing page lists every published fee.
