Accessibility Statement

We aim to make this website meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. This page says what that means in practice, what we know is not yet right and how to reach us if something on the site stops you doing what you came to do.

Our commitment

People come to a solicitor’s website at a difficult moment, often on a phone and in a hurry. The site should not be another obstacle.

What has been done

Contrast: text and background combinations were checked against WCAG AA

Focus: every interactive element has a visible focus ring

Keyboard: the whole site, including the menu and the question and answer sections, can be used from a keyboard

Structure: headings run in order without skipping levels, so a screen reader user can move by heading

Touch targets: buttons and links are large enough to press comfortably

Motion: transitions are removed for anyone whose device is set to reduce motion

Forms: every field has a visible label, and errors are described in text

Skip link: a skip to content link is the first item in the tab order

What we know is not yet right

Some photography is temporary, and alternative text will need reviewing when real images are supplied

The map on the contact page loads on interaction. Map embeds are not fully accessible, so the address is also given in text and you never need the map to find us
